DISTRICT NEWS

Marijuana and other drug effects on youth development. Wed., March 1st at 6PM
We look forward to welcoming our students back to school tomorrow, Tuesday, Feb. 21! All schools will operate on the normal schedule. City and County officials report the situation at Oroville Dam is stabilized and poses no imminent threat to our community or our schools. Levees are continuing to be monitored 24 hours a day and also do not pose a threat. As always, we will continue to monitor this situation and report any changes to our school families. We are eager to have our students back in their classrooms… see you tomorrow!
We’re getting a number of questions and social media comments about our district’s evacuation plan. It’s important to remember that there is a plan for each school, and for each situation that could cause flooding in our community. No district with multiple locations and with a variety of possible sources of a flood can afford to have one, static plan. Click on the read more button for the full statement.
